I have been drawing and painting all my life but have never exhibited my work - so arriving in Sheffield, discovering HAG and being inspired by other artists has been a great encouragement. I am a rather messy artist and enjoy the freedom of charcoal and pastels as well as the versatility of acrylics. I get inspiration from artists like Matisse and Cezanne, from experimenting with digital media and, of course, from the glorious world around us.
