Portrait Workshop 1
On Sunday 21st January 2024, we held our first workshop in some time. An opportunity to learn about portraiture and an opportunity to paint a portrait of an actual live person over a three hour period.
Our sitter was Joe who was kind enough to agree, and who has strong features which made him a great subject for the painters.
Glyn organised the session and did a bit of instruction. Harriet Brady who was one of the painters from Portrait Artist of the Year joined in the session as a guest artist.
Ten painters gave up their Sunday afternoon to take part.
